St Michael The Archangel Parish - Making A Difference -Sept 8 2012

On September 8th, sixteen members of St Michael Parish and the Knights of Columbus volunteered to work on the building site, 914 Sandal Place NE.  The team completed the final trim work and conducted a construction cleaning of the home.  Take a look at the following photos of the team at work. To be  a part of building homes with local families in need and help change our community! Meet new people and get your family and friends involved.

Today we are pleased to announce that with the support of the St. Michael the Archangel Parish and our very own Chapter of the Knights of Columbus we successfully completed our role in the construction of a new home on Sandal Place in the North East section of Canton.  Cheryl Isles and her grandson, Zae’von, will move into their new home in just a few weeks.

St. Michael Parish has been asked by Habitat for Humanity to be the host for the fall dedication of this summer's building program.  There are eight homes that will be dedicated during this ceremony.  This includes not only the twelve Apostles Build Churches but representatives from the Massillon build (sponsored by St. Mary's, St Josephs and St Barbaras), The Timken Company Build and one project in Carrollton.  The volunteers and families participate in the dedication service.  The dedication will be on Tuesday Oct 2nd at 7:00 PM.  All St Michael parishioners are invited to attend the ceremony. Please watch the bulletin and website for details.
