Life Teen is a comprehensive parish based youth ministry program
based on, focused on, and directed toward the Eucharist.
We celebrate Life Teen Mass every Sunday at 5:30 followed by Life Night. Life Nights are filled with great food, fun, prayer, prizes, skits, faith-sharing, and all sorts of cool things. Currently we have teens from CCHS, Jackson, GlenOak, McKinley, Timken, Perry, Massillon, and Louisville high schools. Please do not hesitate to join us on any Sunday evening throughout the year and bring a high school friend. We welcome all high school teens, even those who are of a different faith tradition.
At the weekly Life Teen Mass, teens and their families experience the depths of God’s love through the Word, the community, and the Eucharist. Relevant preaching and quality music bring the Catholic Mass to life. Teens participate in this liturgy as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Gift Bearers, Musicians, Ushers and Greeters.
Following the Life Teen Mass, trained youth ministers and Core team members lead the teens deeper into their Catholic faith in the Life Night experience. As a parish based faith community, the teens grow in understanding of what it means to be young and Catholic in the new millennium. The teens are affirmed, educated, and challenged to live the Gospel message.
