Liturgical Ministries
Liturgy is the work of the people – it is public prayer.
Liturgical ministry touches each person in the parish who comes to worship week after week at the Sunday Masses. The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy states: “The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all the Church’s power flows.”  Here at St. Michael’s, we acknowledge the fact that it is only through inviting participation in the various liturgical ministries that we become a truly celebrating community of people. Therefore, we encourage all who feel a calling to these ministries to share in them.
