Who may enroll?	Parents who are registered in the parish may register their children. If you are not registered in the parish, you can register at the parish office. Parents may enroll children who will be three years old, as of September 1. The program includes 3, 4, 5 & 6 year olds (5/6 year old class is the kindergarten class).
When does the program begin?	The program begins on the last Sunday of September, after the program for grades one through eight has started. The program ends in late April or early May. The preschooler coordinator will send home a letter in mid-September with more details.
When does the Sunday morning preschool meet?	Classes start at the beginning of the school year to the end of April. The preschool program meets during the 10:30 mass.  Note:   If you have children that attend the Parish School of Religion Program for grades one through eight, this mass may not be ideal for you. You will want your children to all be able to attend mass. If you have children in grades one through eight, the 8:45 AM mass, or 4:00 Saturday evening mass, or 5:30 Sunday evening mass may be a better option for you. Classes meet about three times a month, with breaks on long weekends.
Time?	10:30AM – roughly 11:30AM or when 10:30AM mass has ended
Location? Where are the classes held?	The three and four year old classes are held in the lower space of the church. The pre-kindergarten/kindergarten class meets in room 19 of the school building.
How many classes are there?	There is a class for three year olds, a class for four year olds, and a class for 5/6 year old children.  (kindergarten, pre-kindergarten class)
To register?	Please register first in the parish.  Then contact Sr. Dorothy at extension 18, for registration form and so that your children can be assigned to a class.
What is the cost of registration?	The fee for one child is $30; for two or more preschool children, $60. Please make your check out to St. Michael the Archangel Parish. Note: this fee is separate from the fee for children in grades one through eight. There is also a separate registration form for children in grades 1 through 8.  If for some reason this fee is a burden to your family, please contact Sister Dorothy at 492-3119, ext. 18, or Father Brad Helman at extension 12.
Do I need to fill out a separate medical form?	If you have children in the PSR program from grades one through eight, you can include your preschooler on that emergency medical form. If you have already turned that form in, please fill out this separate emergency medical form.
Parental involvement?	Parents are asked to help with one class during the course of the year, and to provide a snack once during the course of the year.

Please note:	St. Michael’s School has a pre-K program for three year olds that meets three mornings a week. Parents with four year olds have a choice to enroll their four year olds either five mornings a week, or three afternoons a week. Kindergarten children attend either in the morning or in the afternoon.   For more details please call the school at 492-2657.  There is a separate program that meets on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to about 11:30 for 1st Grade through 8th Grade.  A separate registration form is needed.  Contact Sr. Dorothy for registration forms for both programs at 330-492-3119 Ext 18.
