Parish News & Special Events

Public Daily Masses (Monday through Friday at 6:45am) will resume Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day)

Public Weekend Masses (Saturday at 4pm, Sunday at 8:30am, 11am, 5:30pm) will resume May 30th and 31st. Note: We will not be moving to a separate summer schedule this year.

Please click here for details about procedures you need to know before Mass and for when you arrive at Church, including how to let us know you are coming, and how to volunteer.

Please note that the dispensation from attending Mass remains in effect for all. Understanding the desire of many to return to church, it remains important for those who are at greater risk (because of age or health condition) to refrain from returning until they feel comfortable and confident to do so. Also, those who are symptomatic or who have been exposed to another with the virus within 14 days should not attend Mass in accordance with health directives. For those who are not able to gather at this time, we will continue to offer our weekend liturgies online, as well as other ways to pray from home.

Online Giving

The worldwide health crisis has brought a lot of hardship and anxiety to families and the whole nation. Please be safe. Follow instructions from the Center for Disease Control and Ohio Public Health Authorities. Thank you for doing your part to protect yourself, your families, and the most vulnerable. We are praying for the safety of all our parish families, our country, and our worldwide family.

This coronavirus has of course had a dramatic impact on finances for households, businesses, and organizations. With the cancellation of weekend Masses, St. Michael’s will also suffer an enormous economic loss. We obviously need your continued support, so that our parish family can continue its ministries of prayer, formation, and outreach to those most in need.

Please consider continuing your Sunday contributions by sending them via mail to the parish office. An alternative would be to use our parish’s online giving capability. You can enroll and give online at https://stmichaelcanton.weshareonline.org/.

Thank you.

Don’t let technology get in the way! If you need any assistance - or if you need us to enter data directly - please call Bruce Gordon in the parish office at (330) 492-3119, extension 211. Or send an email to bruce@stmichaelcanton.org.   The most frequent tech issue may be resolved by trying a differenct browser.  Switch among Chrome to Internet Explorer or Firefox
