Welcome Bishop-Elect Bonnar!


Pope Francis has appointed Fr. David Bonnar of the Diocese of Pittsburgh as the next Bishop of Youngstown. In addition to many years as a pastor, he has served in Pittsburgh as Rector of Saint Paul Seminary, Director of Pre-Ordination Formation, Director of Vocations, Director of the Permanent Diaconate, Secretary of Parish and Ministerial Leadership, and the Vicar of Clergy. He is editor of The Priest magazine. He also served as chaplain for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Father Bonnar will be ordained and installed as our bishop on January 12th at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. He has chosen as his episcopal motto, "That All May Be One" (John 17:21).

Giving Tree

This is St Michael's annual Christmas activity to share the joy of Christmas with those in our community who are less fortunate. This year’s program is modified by pandemic protocols. 
Gift selection and return will occur on the weekend and during the week. Tags are available for selection through Dec 5th. All gifts must be returned by Sunday, Dec 6th to the Lower Level (Door #11). Volunteers to assist in placing returned gifts (No Sorting Day this Year). See the details on the process, schedule, and financial donations.
