Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Diocesan Appeal
The Diocese of Youngstown Diocesan Appeal supports resources for Catholic Charities’ efforts within our diocese and to strengthen the faith of all parishioners through our many diocesan ministries.
Our parish was given an Appeal goal of $197,000 to contribute towards the diocesan goal of four million dollars. Bishop Bonnar is counting on our support of the 2023 Appeal.

Ohio Tax Credit and Support Catholic Education
Ohio Tax law allows a tax CREDIT for a contribution to a qualified Scholarship Granting Organization, (SGO). The Diocese of Youngstown (DOY), has established the Good Samaritan Scholarship fund as a qualified SGO. You may earn a tax credit of $750 for an individual and $1500 for married filing jointly. To qualify you must be an Ohio resident and have an income tax liability to Ohio. Online contributions may be made using THIS LINK to the DOY website. You may designate your support to St Michael School on the website. Additional information is available HERE or by contacting the parish or school office.
