Building a Promised Future Together

As we celebrate our 70th Anniversary as a community, we reflect on our steadfast dedication and joy in serving others through our ministries and outreach. Our ancestors in faith have sacrificed to help us become who we are today; they have laid the foundation. Today, it is up to us to continue to build upon that foundation. Through our "Building a Promised Future Together" Stewardship Campaign, we continue to be visibile signs of the Body of Christ. In order to continue our good work, we invite you to participate in our stewardship program, "Building a Promised Future Together."

Fr. Benson and Fr. Hetzel will speak more about our campaign in October. More information and a commitment card can be found in the link below.

Parish Census

We have experienced many changes over the past 70 years. We would like to take time this Advent to update our parish records, through a census, so we can better serve each family.

A census will help our parish in numerous other ways, including, becoming a more engaging parish, strengthening our faith formation, and helping us communicate more effectively.

Please complete and submit this census by 12 noon on Friday, December 30th to be entered into a drawing to win an Apple iPad. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the parish office at 330-492-3119.

Help Light the Advent Wreath

Advent is a special season of preparation in anticipation of Christmas. While the world outside seems hectic, this time offers us a chance to pause, reflect and wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Lord. We’re offering a special opportunity for the children of our parish to participate in our weekend liturgies at St. Michael’s this Advent.

For each weekend Mass during each of the four Sundays of Advent, we’d like a child (or several children from the same family) to process in with the priest and help to light the candles on the Advent wreath in the front of the church.

Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. This opportunity is open to all children of our parish, including those in our parish school and those in our Families Growing in Faith program. When signing please place your name (the name of the parent/guardian/responsible adult) in the first and last name fields. Then write the names of the children participating in the "my comment" field. Please provide an email address so we can send further instructions, reminders, and updates. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to Mass start times.
